Tip of the week - Xylitol instead of cane sugar

Replace the cane sugar in your sugar bowl with Xylitol.  Xylitol is a naturally occurring sugars substitute that is found in the fibres of many fruits and vegetables.  Xylitol is tooth friendly and has a natural laxative effect on the digestive system of the body.  Unlike other artificial sweeteners Xylitol is non-toxic and tastes great.

Calming an unhappy infant the Holistic Way

When an infant becomes fussy or unhappy so does the mommy and daddy.  The first step is to take a deep breath and remain calm.  The infant will immediately read your body language and signals and also begin to relax.
