Therapeutic Reflexology case study for ADD and ADHD
Aim and outcome of the case study
- The aim of the case study was to document any improvements in the pupil’s schoolwork, attention span during class and at home and self-confidence levels after having had 10 Therapeutic Reflexology treatments.
- The children, parents and teachers were not be encouraged to stop any current medication that the learner may be taking for the treatment of ADHD/ADD or any other conditions.
- The outcome of the case study would be used as a guide as to whether or not Therapeutic Reflexology is a suitable therapy for children who are diagnosed with ADHD and ADD.

Age group of the learners
- The age group of the children ranged from seven to eleven years of age.
Time period for the case study:
- 11 pupils were given 10 treatments (20 min each) over a five-week period performed at the pupil’s school.
Treatment comprised off:
- Positive affirmation and breathing exercises.
- Therapeutic Reflexology treatments through the feet.
- Tactile stimulation with Holistic Kids Therapy Dough.
